Ruangó didn’t start in a boardroom.

It started in our living room — just the two of us, late at night, eyes heavy, hearts full, asking a simple but powerful question:

We were both on our own healing journeys. We had spent years trying product after product, routine after routine. Some helped a little. Most didn’t. And none of them felt like us. Nothing felt complete — safe, honest, beautiful, or truly aligned with what our bodies and spirits needed.

Then we discovered red light therapy.

We were drawn to it not just because of the buzz, but because of the science. Trusted by professionals. Backed by research. But as we looked deeper, we noticed a gap. The products on the market didn’t feel personal. They didn’t feel crafted with care or intention. They felt clinical. Cold. Disconnected.

That’s when we decided to create our own.

We spent months studying — light, skin biology, healing, design. We talked to experts. We read everything we could. We prototyped, tested, failed, and started over more times than we can count. Every detail mattered. Every choice was intentional — from the light wavelengths to the materials, from the way it looked on a shelf to the way it felt in your hands.

Each prototype held a piece of our story — our questions, our learning, our love.
